Structural & crib dock repair
A dock repair starts below the surface. We look at the supports, stringers, cribbing and connections that keep the walkway in line.

What has moved?
A sagging section, a post out of line or a connection pulling apart can point to a structural problem. A wide view of the dock helps us see the layout. A closer view of the affected timber helps us decide what questions to ask next.
See the structure, then make the plan
Replacing a board does not explain why it dropped in the first place. Depending on the dock and its condition, the work may involve opening up decking to inspect framing, repairing or replacing deteriorated timber, and addressing supports and bolted connections. The scope comes from the dock itself.
Practical access, thoughtful solutions
Our work includes rebuilding timber crib docks and lifting damaged sections back into position. Heavy equipment is one option; professional rigging is another. Where access is difficult, the right rigging approach can reduce the need to bring machinery onto the property. We work out the approach around the dock and its surroundings.
Start with three photographs
Send the whole dock, the area that concerns you and the way down to the water. Include your town or lake and a brief description of what changed. Photographs help us start the conversation; an in-person look may be needed before defining the repair.
A few practical questions.
Can you quote a structural repair from photos?
Photos help us understand the layout and visible problem. Hidden timber, supports and access may need a site visit before the scope and price can be worked out.
Do you repair timber crib docks?
Yes. Cribbing, framing and connections are part of our structural dock work. The crib-dock project gallery shows an example from staging through the finished deck.
