Decking & dock restoration
A better walking surface starts with understanding the dock beneath it. We repair decking and address the framing that supports it.

Boards and the structure below
A loose, damaged or uneven board is worth a closer look. The issue may be local to the board or connected to the timber supporting it. Photographs of the walking surface and any visible framing help us understand what needs attention.
Timber and composite dock work
The project galleries show timber decking on a rebuilt crib dock and composite boards going back onto repaired framing. The photographs follow the work with decking removed, structural details exposed, and finished surfaces back in place.
Restoration that fits the repair
We will discuss the condition of the existing dock, what can stay, and which parts need attention. Rather than decide the scope from the appearance of the boards alone, we look at how the deck, frame and supports work together. Materials, extent of work and timing are agreed as part of the plan.
Tell us how the dock is used
Send a wide view of the dock and a closer view of the worn or damaged area. Tell us whether the surface is timber or composite if you know, and include a view of the access from shore. Your town or lake and a short description give us a useful starting point.
A few practical questions.
Can the decking be repaired without rebuilding the whole dock?
That depends on the condition of the boards and the supporting structure. We will discuss what needs attention after looking at the dock.
What should I photograph for a decking repair?
Show the overall layout, the boards that concern you, any framing visible from a safe position, and the shoreline access.
